Great Gloves, 5 Aug 2010

These gloves are brilliant!! I purchased them a while a go now and they are still in really good condition. I work out 5-6 times a week and use the gloves every day. I would really recommend them to anyone whether it is serious training or casual.

I purchased these gloves for my new weightlifting regime but I've used them when crossing lake Windemere in an old wooden rowing boat, that is 11 miles each way with old wooden oars and there isn't a scratch on them (or blisters on me). These are good, comfortable, hard wearing gloves and I recommend them to anyone.

I'm not that keen on running and aerobics - more of a weights person, but I do use a concept rowing machine and wanted some gloves to protect my hands when using it. I found some great ones for weight lifting Mens Leather, Cross training, Rowing, Weight Lifting Gloves - Black but wanted something a bit lighter to use on the rowing and cross trainer machine. These are perfect! Nice and light with a padded artificial leather (Amara as they decribe it) padded palm, stretchy lyrca top. Once I got them I couldn't believe the qulaty for 10 quid including delivery. Neat velcro tab to fasten the elsticated wrist.
Really comfortable. Top marks for, value, comfort, design - top marks all round in fact

If you want to get fit, I cant recommend this enough! Its excellent. I got this for my daughter, who wants to lose weight and tone up for her school prom in June, & im well impressed!! We'ed looked at loads of gym balls not really knowing what was what! So we decided on Gyrobix Fitness Set including the Aerobic Step, 65cm Gym Ball, Pump, Resistance Bands & 1kg Dumbbell because it has absolutly everything you could want, or need, to lose weight and tone up. The steps sturdy and you dont feel like its going to break the first time you stand on it. Just as well if your gona be jumping up and down on it. The resistance bands look 'puney' but theyre surprizingly strong. We were abit gentle with them at first but once the husb had tugged on them, and they didnt break, we were'nt as gentle. You can also use the band with the Wii Fit games. The dumbbells are ok if your just starting to use weights. You can always get heavier ones when youve got used to them. Only down side is pumping the ball up. It kills your arms!! Mind you, like i said to my daughter, its good exercise for the arms!! I really dont think theres anything bad i can say about this set. Its cheap, well made and does everything you'd expect it to do. And, to top it off, its a 'wicked' colour. Well worth every penny!!!

Before buying this kit I was looking for an aerobic step and a gym ball seperately. I came onto Amazon and was pleased to see an aerobic kit with both these items in it and at a cheap price. I was a bit apprehensive as the product is cheaper that other products out there but when I received the fitness set I was really surprised. The items are of good quality and easy to set up. The fitness set is just what I was after and it really is good value for money. The resistance band is quite long and does not have a lot of resistance but you can alter it to meet your requirements and I've used it regularly, it can also double up as a skipping rope!
The step is quite small but it is a good size and it is very sturdy. The gym ball is just as good as any out there and comes with a pump. The weights are 0.5kg each but are good to get started. Overall, i'm really pleased with the product and would definately recommend the fitness kit to others. The fitness kit is honestly really good value for money.

I purchased this kit after my friend gave me a recommendation. The height adjuster had broken on my Reebok step at home and when my I was shown this complete kit for the same price I jumped at the chance. The box that arrived was very heavy and contains all the bits needed for an aerobic work out - even some snazzy 1kg pink dumbells so I don't have to use the tins of cat food anymore! Overall very good value and the quality equal to more well known brands available.

What a fab piece of kit, folds flat (almost) like an ironing board. Build quality is very good and the incline / decline bench is easy and quick to adjust.

Also comes with cables for doing laterals and chest flyes. With the decline position you have a roman chair arrangement, great for your abs.

With a good set of dumbbells you have a limitless mix of exercises to work your upper body.

DVD a bit useless, not as described and they have assembled one of the base feet upside down but never mind, product is excellent value and quality.

Better than other models costing £100+, and yes when not in use is stored with our ironing board.
